Ans. =>I like antidotes

 What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

Ans. =>speaking, training, motivating others, camping

 When did you write your first book and how old were you?

Ans. =>54

What does your family think of your writing?

Ans. =>My teenage daughter thinks it’s “cool”.

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?

Ans. =>That I could.

How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

Ans. =>one.  But I have written a ton of training curriculum.

 Do you have any suggestions to help me become a better writer? If so, what are they

Ans. =>Get an editor.

Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?

Ans. =>All the time.  Our book helped them to become a better leader and they use our book for developing their staff.

 Do you like to create books for adults or children…Why?

Ans. =>Adults.  I want to help people grow, change, and improve their life.

 What do you think makes a good story?

Ans. =>I don’t think I could write a story if it wasn’t true.  I am not that creative.

 As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?

Ans. =>Be a teacher

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

Ans. =>I have never wanted to be a writer.  But I had something powerful to share and my friends and clients encouraged me to put it in a book.

How long does it take you to write this books?

Ans. => 2 years from start to finish

What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?

Ans. =>I am a CEO of a company, so my writing is after hours.

How you become a published author? Any inspiration?

Ans. =>I was diagnosed with colon cancer and began writing to my daughter in case I wasn’t around to answer life questions for her.  People read “Alyssa’s Life Book” and suggested that I publish it.  While I didn’t publish her personal book, I did take some of the writings and added so much more.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

Ans. =>I am a leadership coach, trainer, and CEO.  Some of my information, stories, and ideas come from my clients, some are my personal experiences, and some from leadership books that I have read over the last 30 years.

What’s next for you? What are you working on now?

Ans. =>Staying In Leadership Shape
