Canticos: Elefantitos/ Little Elephants is a bilingual book by Susie Jaramillo. This Board Book is perfect for little hands, the picture book explores counting and friendship, by using rhyming and alliteration. This book is Bilingual and would be a way to introduce Spanish at an early age.

Overall the Children’s book is attention-grabbing illustrations with nursery rhyme feel of a Hispanic folk song for children offering the benefits of exposure to another language. I love the way it is constructed – it is a high-quality board book which feels good in your hands, and you simply turn it over to switch from Spanish to English.

Be sure to download the app and sing along sing along as you turn the pages. Enjoy the little song in several languages with the kids you’re reading with. ** About the Series: Canticos is a collection of the most beloved nursery rhymes and children’s songs from all over the Spanish-speaking world. Canticos creates bilingual books, apps, and sing-along videos.

This book was given to me in an e-book version by NetGalley, Encantos, Authorbuzz, and Susie Jaramillo herself in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to read your work! (5 out of 5 stars)
