Did your environment or upbringing play a major role in your writing and did you use it to your advantage? The author’s background as a musician certainly played a major role in the writing of “The Drive,” and allowed him to bring a unique and authentic perspective to the The author also drew upon his own experiences growing up and pursuing a career in the music industry, as well as his interactions with other drivers and team members in the sport.
