I used to play professional poker for a few years

Grew up in Sarajevo Bosnia, after the warlived in Spain, then in Virginia in US now I live in Miami FL.

How did you develop your writing?
By writing in my journal

Stepkids Kristen and Kyle that i raised with so much love, love them, my own daughter Layla my sunshine, my soulmate husband Luis and my amazing parnets. My entire family is amazing. My rocks.

How do you write – laptop, pen, paper, in bed, at a desk?
Laptop and go lol

How much sleep do you need to be your best?
8 hours for sure lol

Tell us about your new book? Why did you write it?
Grenades as Lullabies, it’s my true story of the escape from a brutal Bosnian Civil war. its a truly an intense story or survival and faith. the brutal grenades, hunger, death and torture is not enough to diminish love. I wrote is so my kids can have an idea about my history and to motivate others where no matter how bad your situation is if you believe in yourself and you have love, you will prevail. To spread love.

If you could have a dinner party and invite anyone dead or alive, who would you ask?
Mother Theresa, Albert Einstein, Tesla, Jason Mamoa, Orpah, Ellen, Steven Spielberg and many more.

When you are not writing, how do you like to relax?
Being in the mountains

What do you hope people will take away from your writing? How will your words make them feel?
Love, love love, its about how much you love and how much love you spread.
