Automation vs. Autocracy: Robogeddon En Route

It’s pretty evident by now that whether it is Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and/or PayPal or any other form of automation as a matter of fact; until there are actual resources allocated to supervise and interfere with irregularities- the cause of automation can go against its very purpose to become autocratic- thus counterproductive towards society. It may become a blindspot or even pie in the sky- assuming everything will be fine.

Description

It’s pretty evident by now that whether it is Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and/or PayPal or any other form of automation as a matter of fact; until there are actual resources allocated to supervise and interfere with irregularities- the cause of automation can go against its very purpose to become autocratic- thus counterproductive towards society. It may become a blindspot or even pie in the sky- assuming everything will be fine. But bots and malicious agents can use this very unsupervised aspect to go against the free-will and good-will of the people at large, globally. Net Neutrality with all its pros and cons, can give a sudden jolt and reboot this entire economic model- the bread and butter of e-commerce. The unlimited potential to tap, cannot reciprocate- limited and in most cases inadequate human resources to legitimize its efficacy to the broader cause of humanity. The profits and revenue may be infinite but the ambiguities too keep on multiplying with the passage of time. This book deals with such rising concerns in this DNA of interconnected world. Where it is hard to discern a bot from human, a fake from real and true from ulterior narrative. Every coming day our lives are becoming more dependent on Automation. Beyond software, hardware too is becoming increasingly dominated by Robots. The ghost in machine is out, and uncontrollable. It could become a resource apocalypse with an unavoidable Robogeddon. The book tracks the timeline of autocracy and the fight for resources within the context of global domination and cultural invasion. The evolutionary process of modern markets and the civilization impact to tip the scales- is nothing short of a nightmare. This investigation comes with solutions and suggestions of how to reverse engineer, revive or sustain this aggressive interjection of technology.
