I Belong is a board book I would suggest for the age range of 2 – 5. It is a diverse picture touching on a subject of belonging. The images inspire togetherness. The book opens up with family I Belong and family acceptance then heads to school and the playground. I felt moved by the inspiration of the author and illustrator efforts to display realistic illustrations of children eating, playing, making music, and working together with family and friends.
