As a parent, I’m always on the lookout for books that somewhat discretely educate my child–it’s easier to keep their attention when they’re having fun at the same time! Calling it “The Lost Art of Mannerisms” is accurate. It’s very surprising how people often lack correct manners in treating others, human and animals alike, with kindness. And for children, I think it’s important to teach them as early as possible how to interact kindly with animals and nature, because it’s something we’re all exposed to.
This book is a valuable tool for teaching responsibility towards animals. The lessons are simple yet effective and they teach you various given rules about pet care. The illustrations are engaging and complement the writing perfectly. I highly recommend this book to fellow parents who want to instill important values in their children!
